Twomey Family Remorial 2021

Sadly, in light of Covid19 we won’t be holding our usual annual physical Twomey Family Remorial on June 12th and 13th. Whilst the postponement of our physical Twomey Family Remorial Weekend for the second year running is a disappointment, we have decided to do a virtual run/walk/cycle June 5th-12th again this year.

2020 saw our first Virtual Twomey Family Remorial and the response was absolutely amazing! We had amazing people across 19 counties of Ireland and in England, Wales, France, Holland, Australia and the US walk, run or cycle for Con, Baba Oisín and Little Lady. No doubt Our beauties in Heaven were smiling!!

We’d love you to join us in doing a 2k, 5k, 4 mile, Half -Marathon or Marathon Walk/Run or a 40K, 55K or 110K cycle over the days June 5th – 13th inclusive, adhering to government guidelines, as we remember Con, Baba Oisín and Little Lady whom we lost tragically on July 6th 2012, and try to promote positive mental health and the reality of how precious life is.

Owing to financial pressures on people we have decided that we will not be fundraising for any charities again this year and registration is Free. If you wish, you can buy our special commemorative medal at cost (+ postage) to Remember us by. Con was an epic hurler for many years at both Junior and Senior level for Meelin and Duhallow, so no doubt Con is well chuffed at this years beautiful medal design :)
